Free domain.
24/7 support.
My recommended host for new and intermediate sites with less than 1,000 daily visitors. Fast, reliable, affordable, and excellent support. Web Hosting Hub is an excellent choice for small businesses online.
Web Hosting Hub has actually been around for over 10 years, and provides affordable and reliable hosting to small businesses, bloggers and new webmasters.
In this Web Hosting Hub Review, I'll be using my own experiences as an actual paying customer to give you information on what to expect if you choose to buy hosting with them.
How reliable is Web Hosting Hub?
One thing you'll see a lot of is hosting providers giving uptime guarantees (the length of time your site stays online). This is usually 99.99% but I've noticed that with cheaper hosts this doesn't always ring true.
Web Hosting Hub don't have such a guarantee and they are very understated about this. In fact, they actually have an average of 99.98% uptime which is far better than other shared hosts who offer 99.99%!
They use highly optimised Dell servers and are one of the only hosting companies to use Green Data Centre Technology.
They also have 24/7 support available and their support is in the U.S on a toll-free number. They also handle technical issues where some other hosts would have to refer your problem and you'd have to wait longer for a response.
What do you get with Web Hosting Hub?
Like most shared hosts, Web Hosting Hub offer a very comprehensive package and are a solid choice. In addition to the unlimited domains, bandwidth, databases and domain space, you'll also get some really nice features:
- A free domain name when you join.
- A free site builder (I recommend WordPress).
- cPanel – the easiest to use admin panel.
- Shopping carts.
- Shared SSL Certificate to sell securely online.
- Free backup wizard.
How quickly can you make a website?
One of the great things about Web Hosting Hub is that you have access to 280+ applications that can be installed with the click of a button. You can install shopping carts, blogging software, photo galleries and more very easily.
In my Make a Website guide I show you exactly how I install WordPress in less than 10 minutes – and it's the same for multiple other software platforms too.
cPanel: The easy to use admin panel
Like many shared hosts, WebHostingHub uses cPanel to let you manage your account. From here you can set up emails and forwarding, add new domains to your hosting account, copy files or take a backup.
This is also where you can install software to make your website. It's very easy to use and anybody can pick it up quickly just by using it for a few minutes. There are even helpful tips that will help if you get stuck on something.
All WebHostingHub packages come with this software and unlike some other hosting you don't have to pay for it.
What is the WebHostingHub refund policy?
One of the main takeaways for this Web Hosting Hub review is their excellent refund policy. Most hosting companies will offer you a refund if you're not satisfied, but this usually tends to be a pro-rata amount based on how long you've had the service.
Web Hosting Hub actually give you a full money back guarantee within the first 90 days if you're not completely satisfied. It means you can thoroughly test their services with confidence and without committing to a lengthy contract.
Note: you won't get a refund for additional services purchased such as domain names, IP's or SSL licences.
My Web Hosting Hub review conclusion
I use Web Hosting Hub on a number of my websites with traffic of 1000+ daily visitors and here's what I've found:
- The sites load very fast.
- They never crash or go down.
- Set up is easy and quick to do.
- I can backup my sites with a click of a button.
- Their customer support is fantastic.
If you are a blogger or small business, or you just want to start a new website, then Web Hosting Hub is an excellent choice and will give you incredible reliability and support for a very low and competitive price.
I highly recommend them.
They are also my recommended WordPress hosting provider as well, and I gave them the award of Best Hosting for WordPress 2013.
